Two people share one buggy for a single price, so you can hand the wheel to your partner or friend halfway round, or a child can ride buckled in safely beside a parent. Trailing your guide, you tackle a marked route of rough tracks, dry riverbeds and loose, dusty stretches where the buggy digs in and kicks up a cloud behind you.

As you climb through the foothills the views open out, with the Alanya coast and the shimmer of the Mediterranean behind you and the Taurus ridges rising ahead. Expect to get dusty, and there is often shallow water to splash through, so wear clothes and shoes you do not mind messing up and bring sunglasses to protect your eyes.
