Crystal De Luxe Resort & Spa sits right in the heart of Kemer, which makes it an easy start point for a buggy safari. Rather than driving anywhere yourself, you simply wait at the hotel and we do the running around. The off-road ride itself launches from the nearest Kemer base, tucked into the Taurus foothills where the forest tracks begin, so there is no long haul before the fun starts. Kemer is hemmed in by pine-covered mountains that drop almost to the sea, and those same slopes give the buggy trails their character.
What the ride is like
Your machine is a rugged two-seat buggy wrapped in a full roll cage, with seatbelts and a proper harness. You will rumble along dusty forest trails, splash through the odd shallow dip and climb gentle mountain tracks with the smell of warm pine all around. Expect loose gravel underfoot, tight turns between the trees and a fine layer of dust on everything by the end. It is bumpy, loud and grin-inducing without ever being intimidating, and there is usually a short pause partway round to catch your breath and take a few photos.

The price covers your free transfer from Crystal De Luxe Resort & Spa and back, the buggy itself, a helmet, the safety briefing, your guide and insurance. There is nothing extra to organise and no hidden hire charges to worry about. Wear clothes and shoes you do not mind getting dusty, tie back long hair under the helmet, and bring sunglasses and water for the warmer part of the day. A change of top for afterwards is never a bad idea.
No licence, no problem
Because everything happens on private off-road tracks, you do not need a driving licence to take the wheel. First-timers pick it up within minutes, the controls are simple, and your guide sets the pace so nobody feels rushed. If you would rather ride shotgun for a stretch, your buggy partner can take over, and you can swap as many times as you like along the route.
