Four Real Combo Days, and How They Differ
Every Side combo we run is built around Köprülü Canyon National Park, and all four include free hotel transfer, all safety equipment and a lunch by the river. What separates them is how many activities are stacked on top of the off-road leg, and which machine you drive.
The shortest is the rafting and quad safari day: a twelve-kilometre white-water run plus a quad leg along the riverbanks and through pine forest, around seven hours door to door. The two three-in-one days run about eight hours and add a zipline flight of four hundred to eight hundred metres across the gorge — one version puts you on a quad afterwards, the other on a two-seat buggy. The four-in-one is the biggest: rafting, zipline, a forty-minute buggy leg, riverside lunch and then the drive up to the Tazı Canyon viewpoint, where the cliffs fall away several hundred metres and everybody's camera comes out.
The Honest Trade-Off
Stacking activities costs you saddle time. Inside the three-in-one and four-in-one days the off-road leg is roughly forty minutes; on the standalone quad safari it is one and a half to two hours. Neither is better — they answer different questions. If the off-road driving is the whole point of your day, book the standalone ride. If you want the widest sweep of the canyon in a single outing, the combos are unbeatable value, because buying the same activities separately costs noticeably more.
How the Day Is Organised
Your guide decides on the morning whether the group rafts first or drives first. That is deliberate: the base juggles the running order to keep groups out of each other's way at the busy points, so you spend the day moving rather than queuing. Lunch is served at the riverside restaurant between the blocks, and it is included rather than an upsell.
What Is and Is Not Included
Included: return transfer, activity insurance, helmets, life jackets and paddles, the guiding on every leg, and lunch. Not included: drinks, professional photo and video, personal spending, and — this catches people out — water shoes and dust bandanas, which you can buy or hire on site. Flip-flops are not permitted on the raft, so bring shoes that fasten to your feet.
Who Should Take Which
Families with small children usually want the rafting and quad day: shorter, gentler, and the child pricing runs from four to eleven with infants under three free. Groups chasing maximum content take the four-in-one, which is graded extreme and is not advised for pregnant guests, toddlers or anyone with back, mobility or heart problems. Couples who would rather share one vehicle than ride single file tend to prefer the buggy version of the three-in-one, since a buggy seats two side by side under a roll cage.
