Two Full Activities, One Transfer

The quad and rafting combo from Side is a seven-hour day in Köprülü Canyon National Park with an early morning hotel collection. You get a twelve-kilometre white-water run and an off-road quad leg along the riverbanks and through the pine forest, and a lunch by the river sits between them. Booking the two together costs meaningfully less than buying them as separate excursions, which is the whole reason this product exists.

Your Guide Decides the Running Order

Nobody tells you on booking whether you raft first or drive first, and that is deliberate rather than disorganised. The guide sets the day's sequence on the morning to keep groups away from each other at the pinch points, so you spend the day moving instead of queuing. Everything on the itinerary happens; only the order shifts.

The Rafting Leg

Twelve kilometres of clear, cold canyon water, run as a team with a paddle each and a river professional in the boat. Helmets, life vests, paddles and the boat are provided and included. It is an approachable stretch of water rather than an expedition — this is the run that tens of thousands of visitors do every season — but at least moderate swimming ability is advised, and if anyone in your group cannot swim, tell us when you reserve so we can put you on the right day.

The Quad Leg

You take full control of your own machine and drive the riverbank tracks and rugged pine-scented forest trails inside the national park. It is the same terrain the standalone safari uses, ridden as part of a bigger day. If off-road driving is the main event for you rather than half of it, the standalone Side quad safari gives one and a half to two hours of continuous riding instead — worth knowing before you choose.

Footwear Is the Thing People Get Wrong

Flip-flops are not permitted on the raft. Wear water-resistant shoes that fasten securely to your feet — strapped sandals or proper water shoes. Bring a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen and a full change of clothes, because you will get both wet and muddy, in that order or the reverse depending on what your guide decides.

What Is Included

Return hotel transfer from Side and the surrounding accommodation, comprehensive passenger and activity insurance for the whole day, all safety equipment, the guided rafting run, the self-driven quad safari, and a freshly prepared lunch at the riverside restaurant. Not included: drinks with lunch, professional photography and video, personal spending, and water shoes and dust bandanas, which you can buy or hire on site.

Compare the Bigger Days

Adding a canyon zipline flight to the same formula gives you the three-in-one day. The full range, including the four-in-one with the Tazı Canyon viewpoint, is on the combo tours page, and live dates and prices are on the ride list.
